Dear Directors,

Thank you for your interest in the Utah Dance Review. We believe that competitions should be artistic, classy and professional. We know you'll find that and so much more here at UDR! If you have any questions, please contact us. We'd be happy to answer them!

There are many things that make Utah Dance Review stand out. Here are a few of the things you'll enjoy exclusively at Utah Dance Review:

★ Judges comments in live time. Each studio will receive a link where they can access their routines and judges critiques. We only hire seasoned judges and true WORKING industry professionals. You will always find a diverse judging panel at Utah Dance Review, including out of state judges. You will receive valuable input on what is/isn't working in your routines, and how you can take them to the next level!

★ Routines are adjudicated for a platinum, gold, silver or bronze ranking. Several high point, judges choice and specialty awards will also be given out. Outstanding soloists may also be awarded with scholarships.

★ Utah Dance Review Gala- This one of a kind awards ceremony is like no other! Cash prizes, studio banners, personalized framed gold records, fun, fun, fun! Here's how it works: The top 3 advanced routines and the top 3 elite routines will be asked to perform again at our UDR Gala/ final awards ceremony. These routines will be competing for the coveted overall judges choice award and the CASH PRIZE! At the Gala, the judges will give their comments LIVE on stage. The winners of this prestigious award will also earn a beautiful banner to hang in there studio!

★ NO ADMISSION FEE- There is no cost for spectators to come and watch. Invite as many people as you'd like! Our event runs all day both Friday and Saturday. Participants should be prepared to compete at anytime during those days.

★ Studio size divisions- Along with our multiple skill levels of competition, we also have studio size divisions. The studio size divisions will  be used for the judges choice awards. This helps to ensure that studios compete with other studios of similar size therefore allowing "smaller" studios to take home overall awards as well.

* Our event runs ALL day both Friday and Saturday. Dancers should be prepared to compete at anytime during the event.

★ Ballet routines enter free!! - Studios that bring 10 or more jazz, lyrical, contemporary, tap, musical theatre, specialty or hip hop ensembles will be allowed to compete up to 5 ballet ensembles for FREE! Dust off your tutus and get your tights on!

Smiles,

Heather Haynie
